If so, disk is not finalized since they have to add files on different systems. The compatibility problem is caused by changes which have been applied to the UDF kernel file system driver of Windows 7. Due to these changes, the driver does not recognize CD, DVD or BD discs consisting of one or more complete sessions and of one incomplete session.
The incomplete session consists of one reserved and one invisible track. The last recorded blocks of each of the complete sessions and of the invisible track store UDF VAT ICBs. Drivers of Windows Vista and earlier versions of the Windows OS ignored the incomplete session and, thus, supported accessing the information in the complete sessions. Add me to the list of people unable to read UDF discs from Win7. I created the discs myself about a year ago using ImgBurn under Win7.

Since then, I had to reinstall Windows following a hardware upgrade. Now I can't read many of my old discs. I discovered that I could suddenly read my discs again as soon as I reinstalled 'ImgBurn', but as soon as I rebooted, the ability to read UDF discs was gone again.
Unimaginably frustrating. I CAN read the disk from XP & Linux, just not Win7. I tried the hotfixes.
